Class Descriptions
 

Basic Stamping Learn about rubber stamp art and the “how to's” of the basic supplies: stamps, markers, ink pads and that amazing embossing powder.  Make 4 seasonal cards.  Class fee $18.   2 hours  Note:  This is not a “scheduled” class but can be requested on Choose Your Class days.
 

Choose your class     Each week you have an opportunity to choose the class you want!  The first caller tells us what class they want on the days and times indicated and we will then offer that class to others.  There is no minimum on the number of class participants. Choose from any of the classes listed here.  PLEASE schedule your class at least 2 days in advance.
 

Bound to Please   Wire bound books are now in our grasp using the first home personalized binding machine, Bind-it-All, which punches AND binds projects of any size and length and through almost any material.  Here you’ll create an 8” square photo album using copper mesh and the Cuttlebug machine as well.   2½ hours   $24

 
New Class:   Christmas Sheer   Paper crafters love to create holiday greetings with our Clear Views Transparencies because every image evokes a feeling, not just a sentiment, which is what we hope the holidays are all about!  We’ll show you 3 ideas using Clear Views Transparencies and some specialty papers and cardstocks.   2 hours   $18 
 

Cuttle Up    The Cuttlebug machine by Provo Craft has made a huge impression on our paper crafting art.  We have already discovered numerous ways to use this versatile machine; in fact, we use it in five of our classes!  Learn about this dream machine and how to use embossing folders and die cuts to create greeting cards in short order.  We will make 4 cards adding ribbons, chalks, stickers and stamping.     2 hours   $18
 
Deja Views  Nature has a way of communicating with our souls.  Our Clear Views transparencies capture these soothing images so that we can share our sentiments through our greeting cards.  Here are three more ideas that you will want to use over and over again for that deja vu feeling!   2 hours   $18  Also check out our brand new class:  Northern Lights
 

Duly Noted   Everyone has at least 3 notepads, journals or sketching pads to record notes, thoughts or creative inspiration.  Why shouldn’t the book be as beautiful as what you write?  This notepad is a kit creatively enhanced with stamping and Clear Views transparencies which would make an elegant gift for that special someone, including you!  2 hours, $28, 4 person class maximum

Northern Lights   Beautiful papers can dramatically change the appearance of the Clear Views transparencies offering you all kinds of different views from just one image. Create a gum packet sleeve (our Round Robin project at Stampede) and two greeting cards in 2 hours for $18.  Deja Views and Christmas Sheer are 2 other transparency classes you might be interested in.

Open Workroom  For $5 per person, you can use our classroom stamps, ink pads, markers and stamping tools to work on your own projects.  You must bring (or buy) your own paper, embossing powders, embellishments, paints, adhesives etc.  Please call ahead to confirm classroom availability in the summer months! 888 284-4363 or 542-4363
New class:  Secret Garden                                 One of the most basic reasons we enjoy cardmaking is to communicate and share our heartfelt greetings with others.  Our joys double when we gift our creations so that others can "pay it forward".  We'll use one sheet of double-sided decorative cardstock to create a beautiful card folder as the gift container plus 3 coordinated greeting cards.  2 hours  $20

Sight to Behold   Three more ideas using the wildly popular Stampscapes™ images.  Stamp and create breathtaking scenes using acetate and Pearl Ex Watercolor palettes, Clear Views transparencies and overlays, and get back to basics with decorative chalks.  You will have an opportunity to explore the scenic possibilities using some of the 37 new stamp images from this line. 2 hours   $18
The Box Office                                    Decorative boxes are always a hit production!  The Box Kits from Books by Hand make an elegant and functional decorative box.  Based on traditional oriental gift boxes these kits include a mix of decorative papers from which to choose. All the book board is die cut to insure an accurate fit. Directions are complete and easy to follow.  Imagine using this book box to hold greeting cards perhaps as a gift box!  Add your own decorative elements and you have an Academy Award winning performance! 2 hours for $28, 4 person class maximum
 
Winter Wishes From fun and fanciful to serene and simple, here are four more ideas for sending your heartfelt and warm winter wishes. We'll use the Cuttlebug and the Bind-it-All in this class plus show you unusual techniques with embossing powder, markers and faux wax.  2 hours  $18 
 
Won by a Neck  Create awesome jewelry pendants with shrink plastic, embossing powder, metal sheets and the Cuttlebug!  Create two pendants using stunning but easy techniques.   2 hours for $23
